internal window - Putney bridge

To be uplifting, yet not overpowering, to enhance relaxation, be interesting and intriguing, and to add beauty, with the ultimate aim of making the room a place you’d really want to be, were all part of the aim of this artwork.

The imagery is based on the elements - flowing water, flickering flames, air currents made visible by gently rising smoke from incense, and foliage of plants representing earth.

The panels are made using multiple overlapping pieces of coloured glass fused back into one panel. The foliage and back lines are painted enamel, with platinum lustre added to create reflective lines that interact with natural light.
