Completion September 2014. Bede’s Bakehouse – Commissioned with Adrian Riley to make 12 windows for St Peter’s Church cafe, Sunderland. Completion January 2017. 2013 Cut – group show of paper-cut artwork, Electric Angel Gallery, Scarborough Commission to make glass panels for La Lanterna restaurant, Scarborough. 2012 Yorkshire Water – commission to make 40m glass artwork for the exterior of the Headworks pumping station, Bridlington. Completion September 2014. Shortlisted for the Garfield Weston Foundation Canterbury Cathedral Stained Glass Window Competition City of York Council – West Offices. Commissioned to make a large glass screen for the main Customer Services area and art-glass manifestation lines for the main entrance doors. Commission to make a sculptural memorial for staff, York Hospital. A collaboration with Adrian Riley. Glass partition wall, private commission, Runswick Bay. Two window commissions, private residences, York. Bathroom window commission, private residence, Houston, Texas, USA. 2011 Demonstrator at Art in Action, Waterperry House, Oxfordshire. Art + Play – commissioned by 20:21 Gallery, Scunthorpe to make an art exhibit that also functions as a play object for under 6’s. A collaboration with my sister, artist Kathryn Welford. Commissioned by Saint Gobain Glass UK to create Glass artwork for their boardroom to mark the 10th anniversary of their Eggborough plant. A collaboration with artist Eleanor Bird. In 2009 SGGUK sponsored my business development.

2009Everyone’s Always Somewhere – Commissioned by Scarborough Borough Council to make art waymarking for landscaping on the old railway line between Scarborough and Whitby. Involved workshops with young people. A collaboration with Adrian Riley of Electric Angel Design and poet John Wedgewood Clarke.

Arts Management and Education Experience2010 Creative practitioner for Creative Partnerships Hull ~ working with the Graham and Raincliffe Schools Federation, Scarborough, developing an Enquiry project which engages students in creative thinking and project-based learning, developing a bank of transferable skills that they can apply to their learning across the curriculum. >>> Rollercoastival – managing theatre and dance projects with local primary and secondary schools, towards performances at Coastival arts festival 2011. >>> 2005 – 2009 Audience development consultancy work, Ferens Art Gallery, Hull. Includes facilitating young people to curate ‘Crazy, Damn Right I’m Crazy’ a Select exhibition from the Arts Council Collection – in partnership with Dorcas Taylor. Initiated and managed Find Out – Feed In an Engage research project with 14-18’s. >>> 1997 – 2004 Director, Scarborough Festival of Youth Arts Initiated and managed numerous community arts projects with young people aged 12-25 >>> 1998 – 2001 Project Manager, Northern Lights (touring collaborative curatorial project) Large-scale two year audience development project, looking at young people 16-25 and contemporary craft.
