These two images are details of one of the ‘Woodend’ panels at dusk. They show how both colour and tonal differences change in response to natural and artificial light levels. In the first image the sky is turning a deeper blue as daylight fades. In the second image, as internal artificial lights are turned on, the silvered surfaces reflect the more yellow light bringing in a whole different range of colours.
